A grass green and pale pink/lilac gingham. This linen is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.
Summer Thistle can be used for many of our patterns, ideally dresses, tops and even slouchy jackets.
Please note if you have purchased this design before, this batch is a slightly different weave structure. The yarns and colours are exactly the same but the weave is slightly more open. There is very little difference. The price has been adjusted to reflect this.
- 148cm/58" wide.
- 4.5oz/ 155gsm.
- 100% linen.
- Check size: 6mm x 6mm.
- Pattern repeat: 1.2cm.
- Wash at 30 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Linen will always seize up after washing but as soon as you start to use/wear it the fibres relax again.
- If you are using this linen for curtains we recommend using a lining to prevent fading.
- Never dry linen in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade.
- Made using AZO-free dyes.
- As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.

Care: Wash on a delicate cycle at 40ºC, do not bleach, hang dry, iron low.
